Evergreen FAQS
How long will the trees last?
Your Norway Spruces will stay vibrant all winter with a touch of care. We insulate each pot from the inside out, protecting the root ball from deep freezes so the trees stay warm and stable through the cold months. Because they’re live and rooted, they can thrive outdoors all winter and be replanted come spring.
Is there a warranty on the evergreens?
Absolutely. Every evergreen we provide is backed by a one-year warranty, giving you peace of mind as your tree settles in and grows.
Do you install the lights?
Yes! We install your lights on-site in whichever style you choose—battery-powered or traditional plug-in. If you choose battery-powered, we test every strand and set the built-in timer before we leave so your porch begins glowing automatically from day one.
Do the lights need to be plugged in?
Not necessarily. Customers can choose between battery-powered lights (great for porches or areas without outlets) or plug-in lights if you prefer a traditional setup. We’ll install whichever option you select.
Can I replant the trees after winter?
Yes! All of our spruces are rooted, not cut. You can replant them in your yard, a large pot, or gift them forward. Just keep them watered occasionally during winter to protect their roots.
What if I already have planters?
We’re happy to style your existing planters! Just choose “use my planter” when booking, and we’ll tailor the display to fit what you have.
Do you offer end-of-season removal?
Yes — select the Removal Add-On at checkout, and we’ll return in January to pick up your evergreens and planters or assist with replanting.
What areas do you serve?
We currently serve Kosciusko County and surrounding communities. Not sure if you’re in range? Send us a quick message and we’ll check!
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend reserving your installation 2–3 weeks ahead — dates fill quickly as temperatures drop and the holidays approach.
How do I care for my trees after installation?
Your trees are hardy and designed to be enjoyed outdoors all winter. Give them a light watering every week or two when temperatures are above freezing—just enough to keep the root ball from drying out.
During deep freezes, you can pause watering entirely. Our insulated containers help protect the roots so the tree stays stable and healthy through cold snaps.
Once the lights come off, you can continue using them as winter décor or transplant them into the ground in early spring when the soil thaws.
